A veces ocurre. A veces hay muchos peces en la pecera y el único al que alimentas es el único que no quiere comer. E insistes porque confías en que tu insistencia es clave para lograr tu objetivo. Y, spoiler, el pez comerá cuando quiera comer. (Además, probablemente, si sigues insistiendo, no comerá de la comida que tú le des). Ha habido un período de tiempo en el que he creído firmemente que se trataba de una obsesión: en una pecera caben muchos peces.
Os digo una cosa, no era una obsesión. Era una realidad:
Hice un agujero en la pecera, le di la libertad que parecía estar rogando cada vez que yo insistía en que comiera. Podéis adivinar lo que pasó.
Pudiendo elegir marcharse, se quedó. Siguió flotando en las mismas aguas que yo podía ver, cerca o lejos. Siempre tenía esa opción.
A veces ocurre. Cuando te das cuentas y tomas partido, también ocurre: "ese" agujero empieza a filtrar.

Sometimes it happens. Sometimes there are many fish in the tank and the only one you feed is the only one that doesn't want to eat. And you insist because you trust that your insistence is key to achieving your goal. And, spoiler, the fish will eat when it wants to eat. (Besides, probably, if you keep insisting, it won't eat the food you feed it). There was a period of time when I firmly believed that this was an obsession: a fish tank holds a lot of fish.
I tell you one thing, it was not an obsession. It was a reality:
I cut a hole in the fish tank, gave him the freedom he seemed to be begging for every time I insisted he eat. You can guess what happened.
When he could have chosen to leave, he stayed. It kept floating in the same waters I could see, near or far. I always had that choice.
Sometimes it happens. When you realise and take sides, it also happens that you allow ‘that’ hole to leak.
