What is being cool for you? How do you describe yourself today?

Ser cool para mi es tener "algo". La magia de la palabra me lleva a pensar que ese "algo" no sabemos que es, o se tiene o no se tiene. 

Hoy me describiría como alguien natural, sensible en todo, demasiado perfeccionista, bastante intuitiva y buscando inspiración todo el rato.

Marcas que me inspiran y me hacen querer viajar a los desfiles de París, Nueva York… y, en general, todo ese universo de las grandes casas con tanta historia. Me divierte muchísimo lo que está haciendo Anderson con Dior y Blazy con Chanel, estamos ante una nueva era. Y por supuesto cualquier marca que todavía se sienta especial, con identidad propia y ese punto difícil de encontrar, son las más cool. Bode y Gimaguas son un buen ejemplo.

The Coolest project you have worked on?

Los proyectos que más me gustan son los que mezclan creatividad, moda y personas con una visión muy clara. Mi último proyecto seria la colección de Studio en color y lo nuevo de novia que estamos presentando. Creo que describe muy bien el universo estético de la firma, y esa dualidad que tiene MARTA MARTÍ.

Con amigas: París y Marrakech.

En familia: desde la Sierra de Tramuntana en Mallorca hasta Roma, Copenhague. La edad de los niños aún marca mucho y no podemos irnos muy lejos.

Una maleta llena de cosas me hace ilusión incluso antes de viajar. Me gusta cargarla de piezas especiales, únicas y luego poner básicos. Muchas gafas de sol, bolsos, el Baba Bag de The Coolest un imprescindible, unos zapatos cool, pareos si es verano y mis airpods nunca fallan.

Volver a NY, comprarme un Chanel Mademoiselle vintage, ver a Guitarrica de la fuente en directo y perderme un fin de semana en una casa bonita cerca del mar.

Hoy te diría Casa Fiero o Xemei. Comida riquísima y visualmente perfectos para sobremesas largas.

Perderme por los callejones del centro y terminar tarde en la barra del Gresca.

Depende del sitio y momento. Decido outfit ese mismo día mezclando lo que encuentro en mi armario. Cosas que me funcionan: la intuición, dejarme llevar y probar

Bonus track: M’s best plan for a Saturday is...

Desayuno lento con mi familia, escaparme en un market perdido en un pueblo, fotos random en el carrete y cena improvisada con amigos. Sin demasiados planes cerrados que acaban siendo el mejor día

What is being cool for you? How do you describe yourself today?

To me, being cool means having “that certain something.” The magic of the word makes me think that we don't really know what that “something” is—you either have it or you don't.

Today, I'd describe myself as someone who's natural, sensitive in everything I do, a bit of a perfectionist, quite intuitive, and always looking for inspiration.

The Coolest brands for M are…

Brands that inspire me and make me want to travel to fashion shows in Paris, New York… and, in general, the whole world of those legendary fashion houses with such a rich history. I’m really excited about what Anderson is doing with Dior and Blazy with Chanel—we’re entering a new era. And of course, any brand that still feels special, with its own identity and that hard-to-pin-down quality, is the coolest. Bode and Gimaguas are good examples.

The Coolest project you have worked on?

The projects I like best are those that blend creativity, fashion, and people with a very clear vision. My latest project would be the Studio en Color collection and the new bridal line we’re launching. I think it captures the brand’s aesthetic universe very well, along with the duality that defines MARTA MARTÍ.

With friends: Paris and Marrakech.

With family: from the Sierra de Tramuntana in Mallorca to Rome and Copenhagen. The kids are still young, so we can’t travel too far.

A suitcase full of stuff gets me excited even before I leave. I like to pack it with special, one-of-a-kind pieces and then add some basics. Lots of sunglasses, bags, the Baba Bag from The Coolest—an absolute must-have—some cool shoes, sarongs if it’s summer, and my AirPods never let me down.

The Coolest M’s wishlist: 

Go back to New York, buy myself a vintage Chanel Mademoiselle, see Guitarrica de la Fuente live, and spend a weekend at a pretty house by the sea.

The Coolest place for dinner with friends in BCN?

Today, I'd recommend Casa Fiero or Xemei. The food is delicious and the presentation is perfect for long, leisurely meals.

The Coolest place for a date in BCN? 

Getting lost in the alleys of downtown and ending up at the Gresca bar late at night.

The Coolest outfit for a date?

It depends on the place and the moment. I decide on my outfit that very day by mixing and matching whatever I find in my closet. Things that work for me: intuition, going with the flow, and giving it a try!

Bonus track: M’s best plan for a Saturday is...

.A leisurely breakfast with my family, a quick trip to a small market tucked away in a village, some random photos on my camera, and an impromptu dinner with friends. Without too many set plans, it ends up being the best day.
